My Books For Children

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by to check out my children’s books. As of right now, I have four series consisting of math books for early childhood, one picture book, and three resources for homeschoolers. The homeschooling resources are in paperback format only; all of the others are available in both ebook and paperback (the latter in the U.S. and U.K. only).

If you want to be notified when I publish a new book or series, whether for children or for adults, there are two ways to do so. First, follow this blog, because I will write a blog post whenever I publish a new series. Second, follow me on Goodreads. An account there is free. Click here to see my author page.

If you click to follow me, Goodreads will send you an email whenever I’ve published something new to Amazon. DO NOT follow me on Amazon, however, because the reverse will be true!

All right, on to the list. Note that several years ago, I tried using the pen name “Emily Jacques” for my homeschooling resources, which is why two of the books are under that name. (I keep everything under Emily Josephine now because it makes life a lot simpler.)

Stand-alone resources

This book encompasses all the math standards and skills that Kindergarteners are to have mastered by the end of the year.

It's different from anything else out there in that a fun, engaging story introduces each concept. It also encourages the student to use patterns to build up their proficiency with each skill.

This book contains pattern activities and a variety of games to help the student learn the basic multiplication facts. It can be used for children from grades 2 to 5, as it also covers multiple-digit multiplication and division. It includes varied algorithms for long division, which breaks down the task and makes it easier for visual learners to understand.

I hope one day to expand this into a four-book series, at the very least. However, the cost of paying a professional illustrator is prohibitive, so I'm waiting on making enough via the sales of my other children's books to pay for the illustration of the next book.
